WatuPRO Demo Quiz

This is a demo of the WordPress quiz, survey and exam plugin WatuPRO.

This demo quiz is open for everyone, no registration required. Three random questions are pulled each time, out of a pool of 7 questions.

1. "Essay" (open end) question: these questions let the user simply write the answer. You may use them for manual evaluation of their skills, or to obtain some feedback as survey. But, you can also assign correct/incorrect answer. WatuPRO will check for match (not case sensitive) and if the answer matches one of your answers, the corresponding points will be assigned.

For example, consider the following question:

What is the most populated country in the world? (This is an open end question, but if you type "India" in this test you will receive 3 points. In other cases you will receive no points. But you can decide to assign negative number of points to some very wrong answers like "Luxembourg" for example).

Question 1 of 3

2. A picture based question. Yes, you can upload pictures without any issues. What's this:

Red-eyed Treefrog, Agalychnis callidryas(We used Flickr embed code here but you can also upload local photos)

Question 2 of 3

3. Multiple answers question. Here we will give five answers. In multiple answer questions the taker can select many possible answers.

It's a good idea to assign negative points for wrong answers on such questions. Otherwise a clever student could just select all answers and collect the full number of points.

Obviously I'm disclosing all of this because this is online demo of WatuPRO. You would perhaps prefer to just stick to the questions when you use the plugin.

I am looking for a program where i can build tests for online salespeople evaluation. I need True False, the picture variety you show, open ended answers and fill in the blank. I don’t see an example of fill in the blank…can that be done? ALso I’m looking for the ability to type in a sentence answer word for word…is this possible?

    Thanks
    Drew

This is the wrong way to do it. Just replace the checkboxes with Radio Buttons (you can select only one)
Should the question have multiple correct answers, you can always have an option like ( ) Both A and B…

Adrian, there are multiple ways to do things. If you think radios is better nothing stops you to handle your exams that way. I think allowing checkboxes is good options for those who want to use them.

Is there an example of what the Certificate looks like for the pro version? If the test taker completes the test based on their grade level will the certificate stay in their dashboard so that they can print it again if they need to?

  5. admin Post author

    Hi Airess,

You can see the certificate if you take the “protected exam” from the demo and achieve “passed” grade.
    See here: https://blog.calendarscripts.info/watupro-demo-exam-2/

The certificate is shown as a link at the end. It doesn’t stay in the dashboard yet (good suggestion, thanks), but if you choose to send email to the test taker, they’ll receive the full detail and the link to certificate in their mail.

I would like to students, after have been taken and pass successfully the exam, could be redirect somehow to a membership login page in order to become a member. This can achieve by email or redirecting to a login page.
    Thanks in advance.

Hello. I was wondering if you can set up multiple questions on one page rather than one question-“next”, one questions “next”, one question “next”?

  8. admin Post author

Yes, Jennifer, just select “Show all questions on a single page” in the “Edit exam” page.

  9. Omar

Hi, regarding the #7 question. This would be a clickable link or should be a copied and pasted one?
Because i tried using the light version and should be by copying it and pasting it in another browser window, i couldn’t `t create a clickable link.
Sorry bother you,, want to buy the plugin, but i need to be sure if it is the right one.
    Thanks again

All good about the plugin. can we show the radio buttons instead of check boxes, that will be good way to the exam system.

and about the user registration its redirect the wp registration page. can we place or redirect to our registration form so that user fill up the form and take the exam.

Radio buttons are shown when you select “Single answer” for question type. If you select “Multiple answers” of course it can’t be radio button, it has to use checkboxes so the user can select more than one answer.

I need a plugin to offer questions and a scale. 1-5. Then at the end it gives them their total “score.”

    Is that possible?

  13. admin Post author

Hi Richard, this is exactly what WatuPRO does. You can give points between 1 and 5 of each answer and at the end you can display the total points and probably an assigned grade.

  14. Pepita

    Hello Admin,

Like your plugin so far by reading about the features. Is it also possible to add a text to the displayed total points at the end.

The idea is for visitors to take the quiz, have a score, and an evaluation and a recommendation to go with the score.

    Looking forward to your answer.

  15. admin Post author

    Hi Pepita,

Thanks for your question. Yes, you can add any text at the end as part of the “Grade”. The grade (text) can be different depending on the achieved score. For example here in this demo exam we display different text depending on the results you achieved.

  16. Pepita

    Hi Admin,

Thank you for your prompt response. Could I also cluster a range of scores? For instance: If you scored between 0 and 15 you get a certain text. And if you scored between 16 and 30 you get another text…. etc.

    Thanks.

  17. sean

    Hi admin,

I would like to add a unique image to each result. So, for instance, if you get an A grade, you also see an apple. If you get a B grade, you see a banana.

    Is this possible?

    Thanks!

  18. admin Post author

    Hi Sean,

Absolutely yes, the grade description allows entering HTML so you can use different images along with each grade. Fee free to use the WordPress media uploader to upload the images.

“You can create any kind of exams or survey you can imagine.”

Can you please explain a little detailed this sentence. What does exactly mean?
I am a teacher in school and when i make tests, it is always better when i have as much different types of questions, as possible. So can you give me some number of possible question types, or is it number really unlimited. If yes, how?
    thanks

  20. admin Post author

Hi Barba, currently four tyoes of questions are available and they should let you create nearly any kind of tests:

    – single answer
    – multiple answer
    – open end (essay)
    – fill the gaps (in Intelligence module)

  21. barba

hm. i am not sure about this, but ok.
fill in gaps – is it possible to include for example paragraph with ten gaps that need to be filled, or is it limited for one gap.

  22. barba

    ok. Thanks.
when i use gaps, does the system allows that i offer two or three words as correct answers (because of synonyms) or just one word can be offered when i make test.

  23. admin Post author

It does exact match, means you can place one word or phrase and it will be considered correct if matched (case insensitive)

  24. admin Post author

Hi Joe, yes, there are three options for every exam: one question at a time, all questions on one page, or all questions from one category at a time

  25. Honsby

    Hi,
Please let me have answers to the following. It will help me make decision concerning my order of the Pro version of this product:

    1. Is the the price a one off charge, or is it recurring?
    2. Can I create my own questions and Answers.
    3. Can I label my answers with with options (A), (B), (C), (D) and (E) with the radio button in front of each letter option?

Please let me have your answer to these question ASAP.

    Regards!

It looks like the material can be easily copy-and-pasted. That would be huge help to somebody taking the exam for a second time. Or somebody who just wanted to take material for their own test site.

  27. admin Post author

Everything that is put online can be copy-pasted. Everything. There is no exception, no way, and no point to try to avoid this.

    Hello sir,
Please tell me how can we display the Pause Button on Test paper. that means if any student who wants to go anywhere in Emergence then how can he stop the Quiz.

Sorry, there is no pause button. When you are doing real exam no one pauses the time for you even if you have to go out for emergency.

    Hi,
I have a question: I’d like to use the essay questions. I use it as a reflectiontool on what they learned. Not quite as an exam. Is there a possibility that the student can get the text of their answers after the exam? So they can keep them in a log? By email?
    Thanks,
    Anneke

My question is if i plugin in WATU Pro, all the tests i have created in watu plugin will not be active, is it??
Do i need to recreated all the test into WATU PRO?
    Thanks

  33. prasunsen

I’m afraid the PHP version is not compatible with the WordPress version, so the quizzes need to be recreated.
